Wavelength Associates provided due diligence analysis and support to a small contract chip & wire assembly business. Tasks included market assessment, engineering evaluation, enterprise valuation, Confidential Information Memorandum preparation, banker presentations, and overall project coordination. RF & Microwave component manufacturer was repeatedly missing revenue targets. Causes appeared unrelated and were attributed to various Quality, Engineering, and/or Training issues. After a complete Value Stream mapping process, Wavelength Associates determined that the lack of a defined SIOP process to include Standard Work was the underlying root cause. We worked to implement an Integrated Business Planning process resulting in successful sales volume month after month.
A producer of a highly engineered product based on Microwave Materials desired to expand their market space to drive sales growth. Wavelength Associates reviewed the attributes and key performance parameters of their specialized solution and determined there was significant process commonality and technology overlap with an adjacent market. We facilitated creation of the necessary marketing collateral to introduce the new solution, supported a complex proposal to a major US Defense Prime Contractor, and helped secure the largest award ever received by the company.
